Can anyone tell me to pair my N800 with this GPS device? How can I enter a passcode when all the gpslim has is a power switch?

Thanks

I don't know that unit but most devices pair up the same way, you put the device into pairing mode (check the manual, usually you hold the power button for 5 secs). On the N8 you turn on bluetooth and scan for the device. You select the gps and enter in the pairing code (check the manual, usally '0000' or '1234').

Yeah I paired mine, don't remember what the code was, either 0000 or 1234 like IcelandDreams told you.

I think mine was 0000. As I recall, it was mentioned on the last page of the manual.

Thanks for those but the problem is that the N800 wants me to enter the auth code into the GPS and there's no way to do that as it only has a power switch. I would look in the manual but it's on CD and I don't have a PC!

Cheers

The GPS has a SET code which you cannot change. Lets say that the GPS has 0000 as it's set code, you then type in 0000 into the N800.
