I've read through the first 14 pages of this thread & did a search, but haven't seen this problem yet.
I'm a newbie with trouble installing KDE. (N800, OS2008, 4 GB card in mmc2, virtually empty, I think - don't know how to verify)
Downloaded the mmc2 set of files to my PC, verified file sizes. Ported the install files to mmc2 via cable.
Step #1 (local-mmc2.deb), no problem.
Step #2 (kde-3.5.8-mmc1.deb), after some minutes, error = "not enough memory in target location". Now other software still runs, but trying to save a note file gives same error.
What should my next step be?
PS. What does "reflash your tablet" mean & how do you do it, & how do you know when it is necessary? Can you point me to a link that does a how-to? (see I told you I was a newbie!)

penguinbait, I relly need your help, my first install went great but when i tryed to install kde-3.5.8-mmc2 it gets an error saying "unable to install kde-3.5.8-mmc2 installation file corrupt" is there a way to fix this problem? i would relly be thankful if you could help.
