Bun: Shoulda jumped on the Expansys sale last Thursday; Fedex delivered mine Friday.
Damn. I bought mine a few minutes after you did and FedEx has been showing it sitting somewhere since Friday morning. Estimated time of delivery is tomorrow.

I'm waiting for the next killer deal on a N800 as two of my friends want one bad. But maybe the supplies will dry up in the meantime.

I also bought an HTC PPC 6700 on eBay yesterday that's supposed to be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The seller says I should have it by this weekend?

Two N800s and a SmartPhone ... sigh! I can finally pair my N800(s) to get EVDO anywhere I go!

That's a good point. I have always hated the fact that there's no nondestructive back arrow on the virtual keyboard. Grrr.

wouldn't it be just as easy to click where you want to go back to then to hit a back arrow over and over?

All time? My Mastercard disagrees.

Why in god's name does anyone have to buy more than 1 N800? I can see maybe 2 - a 2nd as a gift... but people buying 3, 5, even more tablets are screwing others who are looking for one.

Yeah, that's why places like Buy.com need to be put out of business. They have no right to have multiple products!

Or if that's not the case, then maybe individuals have the right to sell tablets because that's the nature of a free economy?

x2 the N800 awesomeness!

Because if one breaks or is lost, I won't be a minute without my preciousss.

And I wanted one to experiment with. I've flashed my N800 ~27 times back and forth between OS 2007 and OS 2008 trying to decide which one I wanted to run due to a number of applications that run on one OS that doesn't run, or run correctly, on the other. I'd also like to try booting off an SD card and also try out KDE on Maemo. I'll be able to do this on one N800 without losing everything I have setup on the other.

Once one N800's battery goes dead, I can switch to the other. I'll have an extra charger (one for home, one for work) and extra styluses.

Maybe I could give one of them to some lucky future girlfriend.

There are plenty of N800s left to buy. You are not screwed unless you want to think you are.

It's not about a retailer having more than 1 of a product. Electronics devices aren't fruit people generally buy a dozen of.

And I know there are N800s left, but the trustable retailers (TigerDirect/Newegg/CompUSA) are either out of stock, or have discontinued selling it.
