Well, I still use a Nokia 6310i as a backup (one of the best phones ever made!) and it requires an old version of the Nokia software. And I also have a 6120 classic, which requires the more recent version. There's no version that will work for both and even worse, you can't have both installed at the same time. IF you try, you break both of them and "repair" install doesn't help. Very very frustrating.
And no, I Am not the only one with a 6310i - there are many articles on the web how many people still use them for one reason or another (some Mercedes integrated phone/comm systems require that phone, for example)
Initially I intended to replace my Palm with the N800. However, the lack of a PIM that I can sync with Outlook (the mail @ my work place) I had to get a N95.
Today the N95 is my main "personal computer", and I have installed the Nokia PC suite on my Laptop @ work and on my personal Laptop. On my N95 I use Fring, gmail, Headlines, Widsets, VideoCenter, SportsTracker, N-Gage, etc. I use the N800 mostly to browse the net and games. N800 and N95 work nicely together.
At work I sync the N95 with Outlook (XP), and at home with Vista Callendar + Vista contacts. For personal agenda, I use Google Calendar, and I have the sync with N800 and Vista Calendar.
