Hi;

Never forget!! Telnet is cleartext! Danger! But, you know if you really need it, for those times when ssh just won't do what you need.

After it is installed, just type telnet at the command prompt.

From Delaroca:
Go to my page http://home.mminternet.com/~delaroca and you'll find a binary for the Putty telnet/ssh client... it is a binary compiled for OS 2007 but it should work alright for OS 2008. Sorry, no .deb package available... but if you are handy with xterm then you should have no problem installing it.
