Hi All,

Is anyone aware of a wifi app for the 770 that provides some diagnostic or survey type functionality? I'm thinking of something akin to netstumbler.

Thanks,

Well, the built-in connection manager already provides a wealth of information I hadn't seen before in any mobile machine. What more would you want to see ?

Sorry, I don't have a 770 currently so I'm not fully aware of what its built in app provides. We're installing a new, large wireless network in work (upwards of 100 APs) and I was wondering if the 770 could double as a handy work tool.

It provides a decent amount of information like SSID, bar graph for signal strength and whether or not the AP has encryption enabled or not, as well as a list of AP's it sees that are broadcasting the SSID. I suspect its only a matter of time before someone ports an app like netstumbler over to the unit.
