Just create a new catalog with the following info:
Catalog name: maemo Extras chinook
Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras/
Distrbution: chinook
Components: free non-free
That's all. The old applications will appear as installable applications.

Are you kidding me!? Just yesterday I cloned my os to sd for the first time, and set up kde to my liking.....and now I got to reflash again!?!? Well...dont have to...but of course I will! xD

Just install the "account-plugin-haze" deb. and that should get you up and running.
here is a very simple way of restoring
Just edit the connection in Connection Manager and in the "advanced" section:
o tick the proxy-enable box
o delete the proxy IP
o set the port to 0
o untick the proxy-enable box
