Well i recently installed diablo in the flash. i already had chinook booting of my card.
Obviously after flashing diablo... i lost the bootmenu and could not boot the chinook from the card.
So i tried installing bootmenu with fanoush's new flasher for diablo and followed the steps in the above mentioned thread.
Everything went well, but when i tried selected to boot from mmc ... it says bootinm from mmc failed and booted diablo from flash.
So is there anyway i could dual boot with chinook on the sd card and diablo on the flash??

Thanks
i did the same thing, installed diablo lost bootmenu but i used penguin bait's new bootmenu deb and it worked great. i am currently dual booting chinook on sd card and diablo on flash. give PB's new bootmenu deb a try:

Yes, it should just work. I am dual booting chinook from SD and have diablo in internal flash too. It can be filesystem type mismatch (like having ext3 in botmenu.conf while real format is ext2).

Which bootmenu installer you used? I am familiar only with the http://fanoush.wz.cz/maemo/initfs_flasher.tgz way, not sure about pb's automagic .deb stuff. I hope you did not wipe your card by mistake.

@sachin007: I have experimented with different combinations of dual boot, http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=21403. And you can clone it on a tablet that you already succeed and put it in a different one in order to duplicate the whole system. I think all you need is to fix your bootmenu. And emelfm2 is very convenient in this situations. As Fanoush put it, hope you did not clean out your clone sd. Give more info please.

use emelfm2, go to /home/user/MyDocs/.documents/initfs_flasher/ and open bootmenu.conf, use the icon like an eye, just to look, that wont change anything, and see what options you have on the bootmenu.conf file, or maybe you dont even have a bootmenu.conf file. More info please.
