The developer also is working to add support for touch screens into KDE, that means native right click support.

Looks like in post 4.1 future maemo will be officially supported platform for Plasma - core KDE technology:

Wow, thanks a lot for this tidbit! This looks very very promising! I can't wait to see if this is released for us mortals.

Looks great and I'm sure Nokia will be pushing this officially as their QT adoption grows.
