I recently got my Nokia N810, and I've been installing some new programs on it. I'm using the latest Diablo OS, also. I've had a few issues recently:

1. I installed Xournal (right from the OS2008 home page), but when I click it I get the "Xournal - Loading" message, but it never actually opens. I've tried reinstalling and restarting, but neither worked.

2. I also installed the Vim text editor from Maemo.org and the OpenSSH client, but I can't find how to access either one. How do I use Vim?

3. When I try to login on this website on my N810, the password field empties itself, and I get a login error! I haven't had this problem on any other message boards, including other vBulletin boards.

Then start xterm and type vim

SSH is also used from xterm

Ok, two more questions:

4. I installed Canola, and it starts find any everything, but no text shows up anywhere. I can click all the links, but there isn't any text anywhere--just a line where it should be.

5. For some reason when I connect my N810 via USB it no longer allows me to browse the internal memory card. I get an error stating that nothing is inserted. I haven't changed anything, so I don't know why it isn't showing up.

Sorry, I was just about to post that I had fixed it. I had to figure out how to uninstall directories. You guys are fast!
