My Service provider requires a PPPOE Client to initiate such tunnel from my device N810.
Is there such a piece of software ? Does the Cisco VPN works as such?
How can I install even the Cisco VPN program ? I download the install file in my PC, transfer it to N810 via USB, but it doesnt works in the N810, because N810 keeps trying to open Internet without success.
Thanks
David

Presumably you have an adsl modem with a provider which uses pppoe, and the adsl modem doesn't do pppoe internally? If so, I would either a) get an adsl modem with pppoe support built-in, or b) get a wi-fi router with pppoe support and connect it to the adsl modem.

There's a pppoe client for desktop debian though, but I don't know of a version compiled for N8x0. But pppoe should really be handled at the wall, not by the computers you connect to the network. IMO.

Here is a build of rppoe for N800 OS2008 with 2.6.21 kernel. This deb was quickly put together. Not guaranteed to work. Also some countries, I read, use pptp which you can get info and programs off this forum.
Attached Files
File Type: deb rp-pppoe_3.8-1_armel.modfied.deb (136.4 KB, 168 views)
