Hi
Not got my N800 yet should arrive this week.

I'm no sure what version of firmware will be on it, but I plan to upgrade to the latest.

Is there a VPN client built in, that is either gui based or can be run from a shortcut ?

I want to terminate on a DrayTek Vigor router:
http://www.draytek.com/support/suppo...n_solution.php

The router I have support PPTP, IPSEC and L2TP.
I have no experience configuring IPSEC or L2TP !!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

im running vpnc, it has a gui but only supports ipsec i believe. Im using it to connect to cisco asa and works perfectly.

I do believe there is a pptp client, but dont think it has a gui.

Just tried it. You can install it on the N800 with the newest hardware.

http://www.maemopeople.org/index.php...sh_vpn_on_n800

I'm going to try this tomorrow... looks more interesting than setting up an SSL CA/CERT etc with openVPN, won't have to mess around and screw up my routing table at home either, brb!

EDIT: see other thread:

I tried installing the VPNC, but it gives me an error:

Summary:
unable to install vpnc
Application packages missing: libgcrypt11(>=1.2.2)
libgpg-error0(>=1.4)

Any ideas how to fix?

I noticed the error after updating to Diablo. Shall I downgrade back to the previous version?
