Fellow Canadians with N800 do you guys /gals have any luck watching it. I was not able to watch it on my N800. I clicked on the link and media player will launch. After 1 minute or so it will say connection failed.

I searched cbc.ca for "Olympic live stream" and handsearched and can't find a clickable link. Can you post a URL?

Here is the link but there is no live stream at the moment. I was trying to watch the Canadian Women Soccer match this morning.

If it works for you in a PC and not in n800, that means that they use Flash player plugin 9 but with a newer version than which is on n800.
I couldn't find a way to install a new one, hopefully someone will do it.
So, for now, just forget it.

You can however, connect to you PC and view it from there, but i guess quality will be less than bad.

Good luck.

Hi,

The link posted in the fourth post, says the start of the games is one day away, so I do not think it is active until Thursday.

It just has the logo in the box right now and al the scheduled activities to the right of the box clearly state "Tomorrow".

Recommend trying this on Thursday ans seeing if it works.

It was active this morning. I watched the Canada / Argentina Women Soccer match on my PC this morning. It is not active now because there is no match now as it is 1:30 am Beijing time
I think ghassane is right. It must be the flash plugin thing.

Download app KMPlayer and add WorldTV99(the Canadian stations have the best video quality). Several different stations from around the world are carrying Olympics live. I watched US-Japan this morning(5AM) on my N800. The other option is to stream the video feed from your computer to your Nxx.

Sorry if this is a bit of a newbie question, I did search for a while but still can't figure it out.

How do you install KMPlayer on the n800? I'd really like to try this... I went to the KMPlayer website, but the download is an .exe (which I assume won't work). What am I missing?
