I have installed the latest sliderotate 0.0.21.diablo setup.

When first prompted with how to have it rotate the screen, I left the power button option checked.

Well, since removing the check or even having it checked again, my power button does nothing.

So either way, having it checked or unchecked now, it won't rotate the screen or bring up the prompt so I can lock the screen.

Is this a small bug and is there another way to lock the screen now?

Press the power twice, you will then get the menu to lock the screen.

No problem, I will try to make next version so, that if you don't want to user powerbutton for rotation, a single click will bring up the menu.

Hello,
I just installed Diablo update and the screen rotation is all messed up. Should I reinstall the rotation package or is this something more serious?

Thanks.

I have the same issue. Ideas on how to fix it?

If you have sliderotate installed, just rerun /root/install-xrandr-kernel.
If not, you will have to update kernel and xserver manually.

Ok, this might be a stupid question but how do I tell which I have. I followed these instructions:

If you followed the method described in wiki, you don't have sliderotate installed.
You will have to install the kernel an xserver-xomap again as instructed in the wiki or
uninstall becomeroot and click this:

http://mikie.dy.fi/maemo/sliderotate-diablo.install

and follow the instructions.

becomeroot conflicts with rootsh, which is a dependency in sliderotate.
Both provide basically the same effects, but since there is no need for an extra repository for rootsh I prefer that over becomeroot.

Dumb question, but I still cannot get the last package, kernel-diablo... to install. It needs flash-and-reboot. I belive I've added the proper Extras repository and issued apt-get -f install but it just won't resolve this issue. Is there someplace I can manually download this package?
