I'm trying to hotsync for the first time and I think I've given it the IP address of my laptop where the palm desktop resides but it keeps giving me a message of "failed - can't connect"

Some suggestions:
- Check your laptop's IP address to make sure you have it correct.
- Double-check that you've enabled network HotSyncing in the HotSync software on your laptop.
- Make sure any firewall software on your laptop isn't blocking the network HotSync.
- Get your laptop and your tablet in the same network subnet.
