already read some materials about deployed walkie-talkie over wifi mesh networks and one solution is called Radio over IP (Wifi).
What application can handle RoIP on maemo or how to write one ?
And second issue - new iPhone 3G + AGPS.
Few months ago I was ago new iPhone comes GPS-enabled (Sirf III).
Today called Apple and was assuted nothjing odf this kind was planned and I need to be cell phone operator connected to get GPS data downloaded (nightmare).
First AGPS system for iPhone was Skyhook application developed
and I have contacted Skyhook to offer some improvements to AGPS system to be deployed in Europe.
Sorry for a question. But does AGPS iPhone work in Europe and at what success ?
Skyhook's AGPS is based on triangulation algorithm.
With more nodes registered accuracy is better.
So in Europe geolocation accuracy depends on your location and can vary from 50 to 1000 m, depending on a number of nodes prerecorded into a database.
