You might also want to check the nm-applet .desktop file and make sure there isn't a line that references only showing in Gnome- sorry, don't remember the exact syntax, but it's something like ONLYSHOWIN=GNOME.

I am sure this is somewhere in here but I can't find it. Installation went good. No errors, etc.
I created my one .item file in /etc/bootmenu.d and selected that on bootup, but it says failed to boot.
