Hi,
I have several paper maps from french national geographic institute, since maemomapper don't allow do directly download from http://www.geoportail.fr/ and http://openlayers.org based maps, I want to scan the maps and then use them into maemomapper or the like....
is there any way to do that?

You've seen the Mameo Mapper repositories thread?

Yes, it is technically possible to scan maps and use them in Maemo Mapper. But the software is not aimed for that purpose, so it's not particularly easy. There is some software that makes it a little easier. It was referenced somewhere in these forums, but I can't remember the name of it.
