I have version 2.5-os2008 installed. Application manager shows an update (version 2.5.1-os2008) but I'm unable to install it. Application Manager says the update is corrupted. I wonder if your trouble installing is related.
You might try installing a previous version. Look here.....
https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_id=29
scroll down for the os2008 versions.
You'll have to download the .deb file and save it locally, then install.

Also, I visit the website you mentioned. However, if i click 'maemo-mapper-os2008.install' link, it just direct me to a webpage which displays install file's content. It doesn't allow me to download or start installation.
what should i do then?

@jchen9068 -> http://europe.nokia.com/A4305010
And the install file is broken, download the .deb from the garage page...
I am new to n810. I tried both this website (http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/maemo-mapper/) and using its own 'Browse installable applications'. However, I got 'Unable to install maemo-mapper' for both.
What did I miss? what should I do?
Thanks in advance!
