I think the most important thing would be user configuration. I want to choose where my photos are saved, what background I use, etc... etc...

Oh, and multitouch on the photo app!

Glad to see there is work being done on this.

thesandlord,
i've never been against it - its simply not been a priority.

for me its the interaction that counts and as people have discovered an uncomplicated interface works well.

I will be expanding the user configurability aspects now that I have some of the framework in place to allow it.

and multitouch WILL be expanded upon, again I just needed to know whether it COULD work.

Didn't get round to it yet, but in another thread Bundyo just gave a pointer to a compile option that worked to make another app 770-compatible :

fpp i saw that and its interesting.
I however can't do anything about it personally.

if anyone gets a chance to run it on their 770 let me have the log or any additional reports if you try to build it on the device.

not sure this is the case, but if liqbase sets a certain cpu throttling level, will it restore it to ondemand after exit?

ian,

the cpu settings will remain until you change them again, or until you reboot in which case the system will revert to ondemand.

I have considered allowing individual screens to specify their prefered cpu setting (sketching in performance, menus in ondemand etc), but tbh the user configurable option feels better anyway and is certainly more in line with how other devices handle cpu options.
