It won't explode... it'll implode in a horrible, unnatural, and infinitely dense black hole of evil that will pull in every particle in the galaxy to its center at 100 million times the speed of light.

Sorta like an accident with the LHC, but more evil and more likely to occur.

Symbian would be a much more realistic bet. In the end it's almost the same HW as a phone.

Indeed, although the reverse is more interesting IMHO. I would buy an E90 right now if it could be flashed with maemo, just for the form factor.

just FYI, Even if winmo binaries are competible with the cpu of tablets the fact is that we will never run any windows on this hardware without emulators or remote desktop things. Why? -Because as long as all Windows operating systems are closed source they can not be modified to run on this hardware, before we pay Microsoft to do it, and if somebody pays enough for them to even think about it, anyone who wants to run it, must pay more. I will never ever pay to get any Windows run on my tablet. For free? yes, but that is never gonna happen.

I think it's easier to find apps for maemo, than WinMo. Just enable extras and install all via app manager, no reason to google any apps, searching from the internet is a painful way to find apps.

If you guys have an inclination to try a new OS, forget about WM and Symbian -- take a look at Android. Not only is it possible to get it running on our tablets, it actually is. Pretty usable, too.
