No, I KNOW that it can't be rotated a full 180 degrees. I also know that at a certain point of rotation the images are upside down.

I see, fair enough.It would have made sense to be able to rotate the camera, but oh well. As for images being upside down on rotation, that could be solved using a simple transition of the camera view via hardware/software switch to capture images/video correctly.

And the more I think about that camera, it really could add another dimension to the whole Open Source, community driven, Nokia backed Internet Tablet equation.

A faster processor does not mean it would be more stable with the same OS.
While I don't know much about the software changes I can say Tools-->Control Panel-->Device-->About product said OS 2007.
