Hi guys. I need help, I'm trying to get gizmo to work with the default sip client. Is there any way to make it fully functional?, I want to make audiocalls, videocalls and I want the prescence to work like gtalk. I managed to make audiocalls but it is very unestable, sometimes it rings and when the other person answers it keeps ringing. I couldn't get the prescence to work. Maybe Im doing something wrong.

Thanks in advance

With the Gizmo sipphone server (username)@proxy01.sipphone.com you can make audio calls, but no video...

The only sip service I have succesfully used in making tablet to pc video calls is voipbuster (pc using x-lite software).

I can mostly confirm yegaoo's findings...

a voipbuster account can use the n800's default sip client (communications/internetcall) to make PSTN calls and video/calls to
other voipbusters..

works ok - when my n800 calls my wifes mac with xlite - have to enable the video with a click on the mac client...

I could not get gizmo to work with the default sip client at all - and found
an interesting artifact - that when I had all 3 services running with the
default client - that my battery went from full to 0 in about an hour...

The new n800 gizmo client could connect to the mac xlite - but video
was not supported.

Just to say that video calls between tablets works using the built in SIP-client and Gizmo accounts. I have done that many times...

Presence I don't think can work with SIP-client.

EDIT: You can even chat using Gizmo account with the SIP-client! It works fine, but if the other party is not online then delivery will fail. (You'll get an error message that I can not recall at this moment...)

SIP proxy: proxy01.sipphone.com
Port: Any... I use different ports with different accounts. Default is 5060.
Account ID: Either your Gizmo name or Sipphone number (1747*******)
Password: What you use for your Gizmo account.
STUN: stun01.sipphone.com, port 3478.

I don't have my tablet with me to double check... but these should work. If you see it registering (Green dot), you have everything correct. If voice is one way or no voice at all... you may need to check your router settings and possibly do port forwarding tricks etc...
