I wouldn't spend an extra penny for Fremantle. Having an N810 I've no compelling need for a replacement. When I do replace those specs would look very good as long as it also had an external SD slot and still had a keyboard.

Put it this way - if it was as good as an N800 but twice as fast, I'd pay $440 for it in a heartbeat.

If it has the form factor of the 770 with a hard case, hell yeah!

I'd want a 3G sim card slot and an external SD card. I prefer the external kb but if they keep the stylus one (and have sensible ways to get special chars and control chars) then I'd manage.

If it didn't have the 3g card slot I'd need a very compelling reason to abandon the N810

Given the gimmicky GPS in the N810 and the quick retraction of the N810WE, I've lost quite a bit of faith in Nokia. Given remarks from GA about anticipated life span, I've got some reservations about how long OS updates are forthcoming for the N810 -- I'd like to get 4 years out of any device.

I'd wait to see the N900 and for fremantle. And N810 software support life-span would be a factor in that purchase as well.

(~$200/yr for a gadget seems expensive to me - ~$100/yr seems more reasonable)
