I've been recently using the LogMeIn browser plugin on my Nokia N800.Everything is working just fine but I've got one question.

Is it possible to hide the top toolbar (Remote Control Ribbon)?

I have been also using LogMeIn on my laptop where the toolbar auto hides. I set the resolution on the N800 to 800x480 and use Actual Size option to have pixel-in-pixel screen. This as you know speeds up the experience.
The problem is I can't use the whole screen and I have to do some scrolling then. Hiding the top toolbar (Remote Control Ribbon) would solve the problem.

I couldn't find this plugin--or it didn't work for me, can't remember which---and have been controlling my remote home computer via my work computer I can access with rdesktop. I'd love to cut out the middleman.

Can you point me to the plugin that's working for you?

lm2 - you won't be cutting out the middleman, just changing.

Logmein is a program/service you run on your local computer (almost like a local webserver). The local computer logs into logmein's own server.

That way you can (from any browser "in the world") log into logmein.com and via the website control your local computer.
To speed things up logmein has made plugins for various browsers - and a plugin for n8x0 browsers.

I use the official one that you can download directly into your tablet from

Figured out my problem: I had to unspoof iphone user agent before logmein labs would allow me to install plugin. Now I wonder whether I can *use* the plugin if I'm spoofing Iphone....

nikolajhendel, thanks. But what I meant was that I use logmein. It's just that when I want to use it to access my home computer, I have to remote via rdesktop to my work computer, and then use logmein from my work computer to get into my home computer. This was because I couldn't download the plugin to my n800 to access logmein directly. I now know why (see previous post).
