umm...i don't know anything about programming...but mplayer doesn't seem to have their own forum, so i have no choice but to bother you guys. >.<

i can't seem to get the subtitles to work. it says that it isn't a bitmap font, but i'm pretty sure it is. This is what it says:

Well, it is apparently offtopic here as your question is not related to Nokia 770 As for getting help with MPlayer, I would suggest you to subscribe to mplayer users mailing list. One more option is to join IRC chat at irc.freenode.net channel #mplayer. Also here is a large forum related to video codecs, players and other multimedia issues: http://forum.doom9.org/

This error message is sometimes misleading, for example you will get it when you try to use truetype font, though everything will be ok in spite of this message. Also bitmap fonts are depricated already and their support may be discontinued soon in MPlayer.

Your video file does not seem to have any subtitles in it (it only contains video and audio tracks), so you have to solve this problem first.

If you happen to be Nokia 770 owner, you can easily transcode this video file to watch it on Nokia 770 (this video is a bit too heavy to be played nontranscoded considering somewhat limited hardware capabilities), also MPlayer has proper support for subtitles there
