my camera would not "flip" over when rotated after i installed "camera" then i saw all the posts about it and people thougt it is a hardware issue.
well after playing with my new n800 for a few weeks i decided to do the clone to internal card. i have an 8GB internal and a 16GB external card. i did the penguinbait partitioning and cloned my OS so i have dual boot.
well low and behold...i install "camera" on the clone....AND the bloody FLIP on the camera works! i go YIPPEE!
i reboot to flash...open camera...and..NOPE...flip doesnt work!
what is up with that? it OBVIOUSLY cannot be a hardware issue.
most people would behappy to have it working on the cloned system, especially with so much disk space and memory available...BUT...a few days ago i started having problems with my clone (which i will address in another thread) and cannot get it to run stable for very long....EXCEPT......that when using the camera...it flips EXACTLY when it should.
i have tried rebooting...taking out the battery, installing and re-installing new copies on flash and nada! zippo! still no flip.
who haS AN IDEA?
