The missing libxml-libxml-perl is not a problem for running perl unless you need this functionality.
I tried to port the XML::LibXml module to armel with scratchbox but I ran into problems which seem very hard to solve for me.

perl n810 |

I tried to install perl on n810 (latest OS2008 version diablo). I enabled the chinook repo ( http://repository.maemo.org/chinook) to install perl.
apt-get install perl gave me the following error
