B-man,
I noticed you have it running, but I never could get compiz to start in gnome. I did turn off the hardware discovery daemon and a few others, is that why iI'm having trouble or do I need to install some additional kernel modules? ( I noticed recently that there are a few kernel debs I haven't installed in the Mer repos).
