I want to update with november IT2006 OS. My plan is, just before flashing, to make a backup, then reflash, then recover my data from backup.

The question is: how much deep is the backup? does it include installed apps.? If not... does the data associated with apps come back? (for example, my addressbook in GPE) and, what about apps. personal configuration?
