i just set up a nas for our house and would love to access it with the n810 to stream music in the kitchen.

i was able to easily get into from my pc and my wife's pc.

i can't see it with the n810. i read something about wizard mounter, but was unable to install it.

any advice from you experts would be greatly appreciated.

i set up the server under the smb protocol.

not sure about nas, but I use Tversity to stream mp3s to the tablet. works relatively well, and has upnp and a web browser. I think its windows only, but there are other servers that do this in linux.

See this thread on Wizard Mounter.
Regular install does not work but there is a workaround.

I have an Iomega Network Storage that I can "sometimes" access within the N810. You see, there would be times that I would see it and days when I don't . I would try off/on, running apps were you can be prompted to save to different folder. Then all of a sudden, the share would appear and I didn't even know what I did. I posted the issue the other day but did not get a response.

I'll look into Wizard Mounter as well.

BTW, today I can see my NAS. :

wizard mounter works well.. I had similar problems with the Shared Folders in file manager. With wizard mounter, samba mounts work well.
