Boy, I feel small. My 'problem' is the last bullet in the known issues list. I must not have read it through carefully enough before posting. Thanks!

Nah, I added that after seeing your post I forgot to indicate it initially - it was a known problem in 0.9 too.

Sorry if this is another noob question - I can't install Advanced power because libglib2.0 (>=2.20.0) is missing. What repo do I have to enable to get this? Will it work in Mer?
Thanks!

Actually the reason is that it needs hald-addon-bme, which we don't have yet.

OK. Any way to know how much battery I still have? Or should I just keep charging after a couple of hours?

One last question - Is there a way to get Tear to run in mer? I am getting an error:
tear [2336]: GLIB WARNING ** default - file default/src/blocker.c: line 167: uncaught error: No such file or directory
tear [2336]: GLIB WARNING ** default - blocker.vala:60: No rule file found at /home/user/.tear/blocker.list. Blocker disabled.

If you would like to get involved with Mer development and haven't yet, or you're involved already, do read through the thread here, especially my post #7.

With this developer meeting you have an extraordinary possibility to get into the project, socialize, network, gain new knowledge, etc.
