Not today but 3 months ago just after takeoff onboard a Malaysia Airlines from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur I had it connected to a Qstarz GPS unit and Maemo Mapper on for flight tracking.

Dog Mountain trail, North Van. Spot the N810... Maemo Mapper is, as always, convinced that we are adrift in the English channel since it insists there is no GPS server to connect to. Old fart that I am, I navigate using a compass, aneroid and topo map (after triangulating our position, I follow the dog, he's always right).
