The atscene is awesome, I too quickly judged @web and the update did improve some things but its still painfully slow on alot of sites...IMDB.com being one of them, wont load in completely and also maemo.org takes forever to load.

One big issue I have noticed is that I cannot access internettablettalk front page because of some issue with the adverts.
"Connection refused
when connecting to http: //amazon.com/e/cm[/url] ect..........."
Just get grey screen of death. Can someone else verify and I will report it. Im using latest update of Digia@web.

@scene is one of the best youtube viewers I have used on any mobile platform, great stuff. Tryed out @web which has a pretty good UI but is prone to error out as other users have noted.

Is @scene going to be available for Symbian? The official youtube client for Symbian is not very powerful.

Can't wait to try @scene when I get home! Can you bookmark your location in the video and start it up from were you left off? Maybe someone should start a @scene thread so info on it is easier to find.

I installed the @web from the Applications Dispatcher when I saw it there. Good impressions but the one bug (or feature?) - I cannot type in a single letter in the address bar. The screen keyboard lives its own life. Tapping keys does not send characters to the field neither in @web, nor in @scene. Is there anybody who experienced that? What's to be done?

Samaritan, as far I as I know this was a bug in the Qt 4.5 libraries that was quickly fixed. You must have been unfortunate enough to install the libraries while the bug existed.

You can either update your system via the terminal ("rootsh apt-get update && rootsh apt-get upgrade") if you have enough free memory to store and unpack the files, or via the Application Manager in "Red Pill" mode.

Hi all,

I just uploaded Digia @Web 2.0.2 to extras-devel. There is one fix to a bug we had in addressbar not being visible when page is loading. The progress indicator is in to stop/reload -button on addressbar so with this version you can see that something is still being loaded.

Also it would be good (as fiferboy said) to update to the new Qt libraries. There still are some minor issues in Qt 4.5 on Maemo, but getting better all the time.

Yours,

Tuukka Turunen

fiferboy, thank you. I took the lamer's road: deinstallation and reinstallation anew. The result was positive. Anyhow there's another reinstallation pending - look one post up

You don't need to reinstall qt libraries again as now you have the latest version. Above upgrade is only for the @web browser.
