not sure what else to search, it comes up nokia something in my network - can i change it?

Ah, I think you're referring to the hostname. If I'm not mistaken, you can just edit the /etc/hostname file and put whatever you want it to be called in there.

Careful - you also need to edit /etc/hosts and add an entry for the new name.
(at least that used to be required, after making that mistake once on my 770 I won't ever risk not doing it)

You're right. You should also edit /etc/hosts and change it to read something like:

127.0.0.1 (new hostname) localhost
Also, no spaces are allowed in the hostname. Use dashes or underscores instead.
