Hi,

i have a strange problem with the preinstalled browser. Since yesterday it won't start up correctly. Instead it displays an empty screen and a banner which says "Updating...". I can not open settings or open new windows from the menu. After some time the browser just dies.

Does anyone have any clues or once had a similar prolem?

Yes, others have had this problem. "Web browser not working" is one previous thread on the topic.

do the following:

cd  /home/user/
mv .mozilla .mozilla1
mv .browser .browser1
and restart the browser.
Another option is , the .browser file should contain by default.

Norm_Screen=true
Optim_View=false
Find_Toolbar=false
Image_Policy=3
JS_Stoped_By_Low_Mem=true
Dirty_State=false
Enable_PopUp_Windows=0

Saveas_Location=file:///media/mmc1/downloads
Total_Dis_Plugins=0
engine=microb

skatebiker, do i just type or paste this into xterminal or are there other steps involved?
