what my N810 is unable to access is /home/user/.gpe/todo

Not sure what happened. I got the blinking !, did the update, got that error, then my status bar setup changed, then my home screen went blank. Whenever I try to change things back, I get the above unable to access database error. Have tried rebooting.

Searched this message on the search bar before I started the thread, came up empty.

Still pretty clueless about the o/s although I'm learning slowly .

can you start the Terminal and provide the output of
"ls -l /home/user/.gpe/todo" here?

Hi Andre,

IDK how to do that...but I finally just deleted the 2 programs that had updated, and that solved it!
