Ok,I just connected to my home network. I have a shared folder on my Windows XP Home PC.

Nothing shows on my NIT.

Can this be done without loading more programs on the PC or NIT?

That is the problem with share folder: unreliable. I have switched to openSSH+winscp for over a year, not once fail!

Shared folder support is definintely buggy (there are some gnome-vfs bugs about it in bugs.maemo.org), and as Nokia plans to drop Samba support for Fremantle this is an area where I don't expect fixes at all...
