According to Microfeed description I'm not really sure what it is. If it's a real application it should have a easier description. If it's not a user applicaition it shouldn't be in user/ category

Not again, please.
The description may be bad, but the main issue lies in Hildon Application manager.
Microfeed is a metapackage that depends on libraries, providers and utilities of the Microfeed backend. It is provided for convenience to enable users to update the backend separately from applications utilizing it.

Is there again (saying "again" I refer to very annoying dependency handling in extras-devel autobuilder) some unspecified time that a promoter has to wait before the promotion is actually performed? Is it really true, that I have to sit and wait until all dependencies have gone through some promotion phases until I can click the "promote" link of a next package?

Regular users don't install non user/* applications probably, so there is reason to Henrik's madnessNow I have taken a closer look and evaluated all the options, I agree with him that this is the best solution for now. How inelegant it might be.

I think that idea for separate extras-testing repo is very good but it will be always a long process to get a new version of package in the extras...if there is everytime 10 days quarantine etc. before getting from extras-testing to extras? Or does this apply to only new applications getting extras for the first time?
