The hardware itself isn't the best and the software isn't as open as something else. But what you can do with the iPhone, works really well.
But I must say, N900 looks really interesting now and I think this is the hardware and software what I expect from the N810. N900 looks like a toy for the Linux stuff and testing, iPhone for productive datas which are very important for me and my work (contacts, calendar, 1password, online-banking tool, notes...).
So I can't and don't want to replace everyday a new systemimage with my iPhone. I want to and I do use my iPhone to help working faster.
That's the reason I call N900 my "toy". If it doesn't boot because I try something, it doesn't matter and don't hurt me to be productive next day.
