Well, he's using Extras-testing/devel there, which is a very different beast than Extras proper.

Yes, you can rate and comment at http://maemo.org/packages/ - things which get sufficient positive ratings get into Extras "proper".

I'm sure some would like to see all these files but for the end-user, these dependency files are just junk. Who can fix this? Can this be fixed by the time end-users get their N900s? Please at least hide them and let them appear only maybe by switching to red pill mode, or something.
Also, what would it take to add a rating and comment feature for each app? Anything I can do to help?
