I have built a whole-house audio system that is driven by my home computer running Winamp. I use the BrowseAmp plug-in to control the player remotely (like when I'm sitting in the living room using my laptop, and don't want to walk back to the office to change songs or change playlists). I'm looking for a simple device that can connect to my wireless network and has a browser so I can essentially use it as a music remote no matter where I am in the house. I bumped into the Nokia 770 and 880 today, which lead me to this website. I see that I can get a 770 for around $200 or so. I'm wondering if there is a lower-class device that can connect to my wireless and has a built-in browser that can bring up the BrowseAmp interface. If anyone know of such a device, please let me know!

Good luck getting that functionality at less than $200.

Possibly a Nintendo DS once the Opera browser is available in the US. (last I heard it's only in Japan). If you're ok with ebay you might score up a used 770 that are being offloaded by people upgrading to the N800.
