The difference between the sidekicks and devices like the G1 and n900 is that it's not server based. So TMobile couldn't control what you could do with the device once it's out of the hands if your smart and determined enough.

And I'm not surprised. I'm actually wondering if NewEgg and CostCo will get it.

Nothing on Best Buy's website and when I called the local store, they had no idea what I was talking about.

Hey that is great!! Any link to share? When I went on their site I couldn't find it. You are not confusing Best Buy the walk in showroom stores with the online store Buy.com are you?

They only have the n97

Talking to a buddy of mine earlier and he said something to me that caught my attention and made me think about an alternative to what Project Black could really be. He said T-Mobile Germany is buying or merging with T-Home Germany or something, and that in doing so, would allow T-Mobile here in the states to offer satellite or cable tv, highspeed internet, home phone, as well as cell service ofc.

If true this would definitely be a game changer and possibly bring T-Mobile out from 4th. Just something to throw out on the table, maybe it isn't anything to do at all with the cellular side of service.

I would think the HD2 would fit better in the pocket than the n900. Its much lighter and thinner. The n900 is really on the upper bound of being acceptable in a pocket

I just read the specs on the phone and all I can say is WOW! If this phone comes out before we get our N900's or at the same time, I will seriously consider getting this instead...

1GHZ Snapdragon processor with 1GB of total ram, if what I'm reading on that T-Mobile link I previously posted.
