Hi all, I just bought an N800 and am trying to use it at my home network but each time I try to browse the web I get "Network problem" error .... I am using a Motorola sbg900 wireless access point...

It's not a hidden network...its broadcasted with SSID. It does have security, so I already typed in the paraphrase key into the N800.......am using WEP

I've had the same problem before and it usually can be traced to either mis-typing the WEP key or no network connectivity of some sort. No DNS servers set, proxy not set, etc.

The n800 likes to capitalize the first letter of everything. Essid is caps sensitive

I got it working now, been going back and forth between N800 and the wireless configurations and re-doing wep keys until it finally decided to work...

Thanks all for suggestions..

WEP KEY, WEP KEY, WEP KEY.

Its been a mix of fat finger typing and so on, that kept my n800 from picking up a network at home for me.

Delete any connection you have made, start from scratch and be really attentive when it comes to putting in your key.

Might help.

Everyone: Put your wep key in a text file and then copy/paste it into the router and all required computers.

But if someone breaks into your computer, they'll have your wep key.
