You suggesting we'll still be waiting for this come Easter???? Or that the release date moves around with the changing tides and lunar cycles? Or just that a few fans have laid an egg waiting....

I wonder how many preorders there are already, combined i mean. I'm pretty sure they didn't expect so many preorders and are having a hard time keeping up.

Well, no. But I would assume nokia's webstores to have correct dates. Since nokia have 100% control of these stores.

No, they are guesses. That's my experience with Nokia's webstores and flagship store.

Don't trust nokia website anymore. Just another example is the nokia n97 mini which was released and ready for sale eyesterday in uk flagship store but on their website it still says preorder. And there was one who commented that he preordered the phone and still didn't get it yet.

Wrong, try again.

(and if you know somebody that has correct date, ask lottery numbers for next week too)

Nokia online shop finland said that a sophisticated guess would be mid november, that's the best you can get. Nobody knows for sure until same day devices are ready to be shipped.

If every nokia store employee would know every release date for coming models, they wouldn't have time selling the phones from memorizing them all.

Latest news about when the N900 is coming to Sweden is, "week 52".

This came from Three sweden, at their facebook site.

They told me that Nokia promised that three wil be the first company to have it in Sweden. Very grim news :/

Not sure that would be the delay...but if it gives them more tme so that AFTER i get it set up, i dont need to do a software update a few weeks later and reset up my entire device.....ill wait.

If you are waitin for an att device w/this, then stay tuned to the ftc website for units getting the ok with att freqs. Otherwise...it aint coming.

And if it hasnt already been given the ok by now, then it will be a while.
Thatīs one thing I do not get, why on earth do many devices need to be completely reset up after updating, that whole update process is completely broken. I do not have to reinstall all programs on my computer when I update it, why should I have to do it for my phone?

For me it was about 1.5 days work to get my N95 to where it had been before updates, so I did them rather seldomly.
