crackhead,

edit the /home/user/.opera/input.ini file, under the section [Browser Widget] change

Down = Navigate Down

to

Down = Scroll Down

and the same for up, and it should scroll like you want it to.

Mmm this is very handy. I do have one problem, being a noob. What can I use to edit this easily? I have installed xterm but vim keeps failing on installation due to missing libraries (I am using the one click install).

Is there a way to force it to open with the built in notes application or something? I hate that I have to install stuff to modify this ini file (or why its not an easy to change preference tab)

Thanks for any assistance ya'll can provide =)

yep, I used vi...

the reason it's not easy to edit this stuff is probably for simplicity of the interface, Opera on the desktop is massively configurable... I just don't see how they could pack all that stuff onto a device... I'm just glad that they left the config options, even if they didn't leave the config interface.

(Now that I've changed it, it feels so awkward lol...) I might copy the way they do it on mobile phones and have left/right be page up/down and see how that works out.

Thanks for the tips guys!!!
