Nav n Go's iGo navigation system is one of the best in its category. It's got versions for WinMo, iPhone/iPod touch and Android, used on PNAs, PDAs, mobile phones and with the release of the Nokia N900 mobile computer/phone it's time to port it to this excellent platform (Maemo) too. Please sign the petition to show to the developers: there are many people interested in it and it worth to make it. If you don't know this application please visit: http://www.navngo.com/

why not, the more apps we have on N900, the more users it will attract and the better it will get

I should create a petition for Roadsync to be ported to Maemo as well lol

I just sign. Navigation applications is the only thing worrys me. I'm using with my symbian device Garmin, Ovi maps, Google Maps, Sygic and NDrive. I hope to see them all ported for Maemo 5.

Signed too. If Maemo 5 would have Ovi Maps 3.1 already (+ some better integration w contacts, conversations), there would be no need (or room) for anything except Google Maps.

As of now, I'm in a dire need for a good navi software and iGo would be perfect!

I think that the goal is a little bit too high.

No offence, but I highly doubt that 50k people will register on that site, only to contibute to this possible outcome.

Anyway, it's always nice to gain general attraction for a commonly unknown platform like Maemo.

That's true, I forget to change it from the default. After realizing it I could not decide what would be a realistic value... but 'cos you mentioned it, I've lowered it to 500. Hope thats not so high.

If they use Qt to bring it to Maemo 5, it will be easily portable to future Maemo 6 and Symbian phones, so why not ?
