drops and spills can be claimed after 30 days.
The problem that you have to stay with amazon, if you order from somewhere else you are not going to get this kind of deal.

The cancel confirmation email I got from Square Trade about my Amazon order included a 10% coupon that I can use for my new warranty. Also, I received this info from ST after I sent them an email with some questions:

For your new item, you can purchase the warranty directly from our website, or you can do it over the phone with us.

Moreover, please note that we currently sell SquareTrade warranties on retail items up to 90 days after the item was purchase.

Unfortunately, we can not offer warranties on items bought beyond our 90 day purchase window. Additionally, your item must be under warranty (by the manufacturer or someone else) at time of the purchase of a SquareTrade warranty.

Also, you can buy the warranty for your item on our website "www.squaretrade.com" or by giving us a call and doing it over the phone, whichever is more convenient for you.

Other additional requirements may also apply. Please refer to our terms & conditions, or give us a call to confirm your item's eligibility.

Hope that answers your question! If not, go here to view the contract summary. You can also reply to this email or call 1-877-WARRANTY (1-877-927-7268) US & Canada only, 24/7.

Thank you,

Hmm I really hope they did add an exception on my account instead of lying to me to stop me from canceling it..
