Borrowed a Vista machine and started NSU - detected the device and started to update. N900 rebooted and showed usbconnected on Nokia screen (like n810 firmware updates) and NSU said 15 minutes remaining.
Waited 1.5 hours and nothing changed.
Prayed to the FSM and pulled the cable. Then pulled the battery to force a reboot. Old rom loaded (.41-10).
Anyone else failed to update their device using NSU? If this happens to consumers I imagine they'll be pretty annoyed.
Anyways thanks nokia for reminding me why I stopped using proprietary POS software. Im still disappointed that there is no image for the linux flasher on a so called 'open' device.
Does anyone have any insight into why it might have failed to flash?
