I have my Opera home page set to http://en.wikipedia.org/ and it turns out to be the closest thing to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy that I've found anywhere. Next, to alleviate eyestrain in Opera permanently, the trick is to change the size of the default font used by Opera. This can only be done by editing a configuration file buried in your tablet's filesystem. The file is called "/home/user/.opera/opera.ini" and you need to look for the line that says "Minimum Font Size=" followed by a number. Change that number to anything higher and your default font size will change accordingly (18 works for me).
I think there might even be a setting in there to get Opera to start in fullscreen (maybe called "kiosk" mode), but I have to admit I've never looked for that. Who knows? This could be your opportunity to discover something about the Internet Tablet you can share with the community.

I changed the Wikipedia skin, an tried to edit the opera.ini file. Brought it up in xterminal in vi, found the line with /Size moved to the 7 (default size) removed the 7 with the "x" command, inserted 18 with the "a" command, and can't for the life of me figger out how to get vi back into command mode without an escape key.
I can't believe they put vi on this thing and then took away the escape key.
Help!!!

Esc is the hardware key above menue - looks like a circular anticlockwise arrow.

That's not an editor, it's virtual S&M.
Request: Someone please port Emacs to the Internet Tablet, so we can have real flame wars in this forum.
(OK, so I was only joking about vi, because I don't know how to be productive with it; mc's editor is my friend)

Nano loaded up ok (took a long time) but it wants esc keys too. I can't believe Nokia (or whoever wrote the virtual KB for this thing) left off the esc key!

OK, I installed LeafPad, and that works well. Edited Opera.ini and can now read the HGTG.
Couldn't find anything about KIOSK mode though.

IMO, the new catalogue is shite for anyone but the total, clueless, not-wanting-to-learn-anything-and-I-do-mean-anything-just-make-it-work-you-nerds newbie.
Oh, BTW, there is a hardware escape key, first key below the D-pad. I'm pretty certain it's mapped to the real esc-key value.

The escape key is not on the virtual keyboards because you actually have a real one. It's the hardware key just down from directional pad.
